About the Event Space

In the fine Denver suburb of Arvada, Colorado, you will find Eric and Cari's place - a hidden & tucked away gem of an oasis with gardens, chickens, a glorious studio space, and plenty of trees - just down the road from Costco.

It's here that we will host our party (and can't thank Eric and Cari enough for being on board!)

Getting There & Parking Info

Because our nuptials will be hosted at a private residence, there are a few things to know and note...all of which we're sharing here to help make it easy for you to plan!

Eric and Cari are in an old neighborhood that started in the 1940s. Back then, they didn’t think about parking. The “Ave” probably started as a wagon trail for a farm. So, there’s no parking on 50th Ave. Even if it looks like there’s a spot to squeeze in, nope, it’s a neighbor’s yard. We really want to respect them, so please refrain from parking on 50th! But fear not other options just mean a short, healthy walk.

Here are the options:

Best option: Uber/Lyft and be carefree. No designated driver needed.
Street parking on the east side of Allison Street about 50 - 100 yards north and south of where 50th Ave. T’s into Allison St. (highlighted in yellow on the map below)
Parking lots at the Head Start School that’s on Allison Street on the South side of the school. (also highlighted yellow below!)

From there, it’s a short walk to our nuptial party. You can also drop people off at the driveway and then only one person needs to walk!

Look for a black mailbox next to the long gravel driveway on the south side of 50th.

For the Locals

Eric and Cari's place is a short drive from Lafayette, and we'd recommend catching an Uber, if you can! If not, we'll share details on where to park and how to grab our "shuttle" close to the day of.

For the Travelers

If you are traveling in, we would highly recommend renting a car, simply because the greater Denver area is impossibly spread out and it's much easier than paying for transport back and forth from the airport. (Unless you want to take the train into downtown Denver!)

Old Town Arvada is ADORABLE and would make for a cute weekend getaway. Other spots, like Golden Gate Canyon State Park, or other hikes are a short drive away...as are an innumerable number of distilleries and breweries (as is the Colorado way).
